Taking a Montessori approach to speech and feeding therapy
I provide speech, language, and feeding therapy for kids from birth to 12 years old. Every session is personalized, culturally responsive, and takes a strengths-based approach while focusing on fun and functional activities. Inspired by Mindfulness and Montessori philosophies, I aim to help your child create deep cosmic connections with their environment to promote holistic growth. Your child will lead the way as they explore new connections with the world around them!
Speech & Language Therapy
Does your child have difficulty communicating or making speech sounds? Speech therapy will focus on building speech and language skills during play while incorporating your child’s interests. Caregivers are always encouraged to join in and learn alongside their child in speech therapy sessions.
Feeding Therapy
Feeding therapy makes mealtimes enjoyable for the whole family— whether you are navigating breastfeeding, bottle feeding, picky eating, or the transition to solid foods, we will work together to overcome your child’s feeding challenges. You don’t have to do this alone.
Parent Coaching
Parent coaching will empower you to connect with your child during everyday activities. You will learn to identify your child’s developmental stage, join in on their interests, and use supportive strategies to help them grow. One-on-one coaching and group sessions are available. Join me in person or online!

Amruta Potdar, M.S., CCC-SLP

Hi, I’m Amruta, a mother, wife, and speech therapist with nearly 20 years of experience providing speech, language, and feeding therapy to children of all ages.
I believe that children are naturally wonderful learners, and every person has infinite potential. My therapy approach combines elements of Mindfulness and Montessori— allowing me to enter into each child’s world and support them as they explore, play, and build connections with those around them.
I also empower parents and caregivers to be in the driver's seat of their child’s therapy journey. I bring expertise in child development, and also trust your instincts about your individual child. As a team, we can give your child the support they need to build new skills in everyday moments.
In my spare time, you can find me playing with my daughters, watching thrillers with my husband, curling up with a cup of chai and a good book, or listening to my favorite Speech, Montessori, or Parenting podcasts. My family keeps me grounded and reminds me that “every day CAN be perfect”!

Amruta Potdar, SLP provides speech therapy services in homes, daycares, and preschools near Plano, TX, and surrounding areas (Frisco, Allen, Carrollton, Richardson, The Colony, and Little Elm). Parent coaching sessions are conveniently available online and in person.
Step One
Reach out to schedule an initial consultation via phone or video call. I will listen to your concerns and recommend the next best step.
Step Two
I will meet with your child at home, daycare, preschool, or private school to evaluate their communication and/or feeding skills.
Step Three
I will partner with your family to provide personalized therapy sessions. Therapy goals will be tailored to your child’s needs and your family’s goals.
Insurance & Billing
Amruta Potdar, SLP currently accepts private pay clients. Upon request, you will be provided with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for full or partial reimbursement for speech and feeding services rendered. Reach out to learn more about evaluation and therapy service rates.
