FAQs

  • No, at this time I do not take insurance. I believe that by staying private pay, I am able to foster more family involvement, greater individualization of treatment, prevent untimely discharge due to insurance limitations, and ultimately provide the first-class service you wish for your child and family. However, I can provide a superbill that you can provide to your insurance provider for potential full or partial reimbursement.

  • I currently accept payments through cash, check, credit card, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds, and Health Savings Account (HSA) funds. Payment is due at the time of service.

  • Individual therapy services are provided in the child’s comfortable environment - your home, child’s preschool or private school, a convenient community location, or via teletherapy. Caregiver and child classes are conducted at a predetermined community location that is convenient to participants.

  • No, a referral from your doctor is not required. However, I accept clients and families that were referred by their doctor or other providers. Call today to schedule a free initial consultation, or with any additional questions.

  • There are many factors that affect the frequency of sessions, duration of each session, and how long services are needed. The child’s age, ability and willingness to participate, severity of condition, coexisting conditions, family’s goals, scheduling needs, budget; all of these are taken into consideration, and together we come up with a treatment plan that is tailor-made to suit your family’s needs.

  • Yes! I believe that when there is collaboration between all stakeholders, progress is achieved faster. I will be more than happy to collaborate with any other therapists or providers your child may be working with.

  • It depends! Your child may not qualify for specialized services because their overall growth and development is steady. However, I understand that as a parent you may still have concerns and want to help your child develop to their fullest potential. I provide parent/caregiver coaching to empower you with information and simple but effective tools and strategies to help you connect with your child and feel confident in helping and nurturing them.

  • Absolutely! In fact I highly encourage you to. This way you can see for yourself and learn the cues and strategies that help your child in the session, and you can provide these throughout the day. Also, this will give us a chance to collaborate on functional goals and target specific difficulties that your child has outside of the therapy sessions.
